John Lennon’s lost ‘Help!’ guitar headed for auction
John Lennon's iconic ‘Help!’ guitar has resurfaced after being discovered in an attic, and it's now set to hit the auction block. The Framus 12-string was played by both Lennon and George Harrison while they were making the ‘Help!’ album, as well as ‘Rubber Soul.’ Lennon used the guitar on songs like ‘You've Got To Hide Your Love Away’ and ‘Help!’. After being used by many music industry icons, the guitar was stored away for over 50 years before its recent discovery. Now estimated to fetch between $600,000 and $800,000, experts anticipate it may surpass previous Beatles memorabilia auction prices. Darren Julien of Julien's Auctions likened the discover to finding a lost masterpiece and highlighted that the guitar is in excellent condition.
