Kanye West Disses Wiz Khalifa, Compliments His Pants in an Epic Twitter Rant #WizWearsCoolPants

This afternoon, Kanye West provided us with the perfect remedy for that 2:30 feeling when he went on an epic Twitter rant against rapper Wiz Khalifa. Why are these two esteemed emcees beefing? Allow us to explain.

Earlier, Kanye West revealed on Twitter that he was changing the title of his album from “Swish” to “Waves.” Khalifa took issue with the new nomenclature, suggesting that West was biting off Harlem rapper Max B, who is currently serving a 75 year sentence for kidnapping, murder, armed robbery and aggravated assault. Max B is credited with coining the term “wavy,” which happens to be a big theme in his music.

“Please don’t take the wave,” Khalifa tweeted. “Max B is the wavy one. He created the wave. There is no wave without him.” Soon after tweeting his album’s name change, Kanye (rightly) shouted out Max B, but we guess Yeezy only just saw Khalifa’s tweets this afternoon, because the rapper blessed us with another harrowing twitter rant, clapping back at Khalifa for his comments.

The deluge of Tweets (which have since been deleted, because Yeezy’s “all about positive energy,”) are a mixture of disses “no one I know has ever listened to one of your albums all the way through,” compliments “I think you dress cool. I wish I was skinny and tall,” and a few tasteless pot-shots at Amber Rose (who, for the record, has nothing to do with the feud) and Sebastian, Wiz and Amber’s son.

But the most important thing we gleaned from this episode is that Kanye really, really likes Wiz Khalifa’s pants. So much so that he did us the service of starting a new hashtag. “I went to look at your twitter and you were wearing cool pants,” West tweeted. “I screen grabbed those pants and sent it to my style team #Wizwearscoolpants”  At least Wiz can go to bed knowing that Kanye might not respect his opinions, but he definitely respects his style.

Oh, and what does Wiz think of what Kanye has to say? ”I been smashed the idea of that album even existing. I got joints to roll.”

And apparently, cool pants to wear.
