How King Charles Is Supporting Taylor Swift Fans, Families Affected by Deadly Knife Attack
King Charles III is paying tribute to the victims of last month's deadly mass stabbing at a Taylor Swift-themed dance class with a special visit that coincides with the pop star's last leg of Eras Tour performances in the area.
On Tuesday, Aug. 20, His Majesty headed to Town Hall in Southport to meet with community members, local leaders and most importantly, the survivors of the July 29 attack at the Hart Space Community Centre that took the lives of three young children and inflicted pain upon countless others.
While there, he is expected to share his gratitude with the first responders who showed up to help during one of Southport's darkest hours, as well as hear from staff representing Merseyside's police, fire and rescue and ambulance services, per a recent BBC report.
Following Charles' public appearance, he reportedly plans to hold a private meeting with some of the surviving children and their families, according to details in an official press release.

Tomorrow, he is also scheduled to meet with the three bereaved families in London to honor the unthinkable loss of three young lives: 6-year-old Bebe King, 7-year-old Elise Dot Stancombe and 9-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar.
The king's visit comes after a number of vigils as well as funerals for two of the three victims were held by loved ones. It also comes weeks after Charles issued a statement saying he was "profoundly shocked to hear of the utterly horrific incident."
Ten other people were seriously injured during the tragic attack, including 35-year-old yoga teacher Leanne Lucas, who was recently readmitted to the hospital, per BBC.
According to the outlet, a 17-year-old, later identified as Axel Muganwa Rudakubana, has been charged with the murder of three girls and 10 counts of attempted murder.
