Who is Lil Uzi Vert?
Lil Uzi Vert is a hip-hop superstar and rapper who recently closed out Summerfest's largest stage at the American Family Insurance Amphitheater with Lil Yachty this year.
It was an especially noteworthy booking, since, at the time, the only other place they had played this year was Coachella.
As a rapper, Lil Uzi Vert has a unique knack for pairing catchy melodies with sometimes dark and other times groovy lyrics and subject matters, evidenced by their several hits including the songs "XO TOUR Llif3," "The Way life Goes" and "Just wanna Rock" from their most recent 2023 album "Pink Tape."
The artist, who identifies as non-binary, also has several notable features, including on the 2016 No. 1 Billboard Hot 100 hit “Bad & Boujee” alongside Migos and on Juice WRLD's 2018 hit "Lucid Dreams" that peaked at No. 2.
"Pink Tape," along with Lil Uzi Vert's other releases "Luv Is Rage 2" in 2017 and "Eternal Atake" in 2020, all debuted atop the Billboard 200.
