Limestone County man charged with child sex crimes, torture

ELKMONT, Ala. (WHNT) — A 35-year-old man was arrested and charged with multiple child sex crimes on Monday.

Court documents show 35-year-old Dakota Vaughn was indicted on August 14 by a grand jury and he was arrested on August 19.

Vaughn was charged with two counts of rape of someone less than 12 years old, one count of sexual torture of someone less than 12 years old, one count of sexual abuse of someone less than 12 years old and one count of rape-force.

He was booked into the Limestone County Jail without bond.

Documents do not show when his court date will be held.
