Biden delivers acceptance speech to close out Democratic National Convention
The 2020 Democratic National Convention drew to a close on Thursday, with Joe Biden delivering his acceptance speech for the party’s presidential nomination in prime time. Other speakers included Sens. Cory Booker, Chris Coons and Tammy Duckworth, California Gov. Gavin Newsom, Atlanta Mayor Keisha Lance Bottoms, former South Bend, Ind., Mayor Pete Buttigieg, former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg, Andrew Yang and “Veep” star Julia Louis-Dreyfus, who served as host and moderator or the virtual convention’s final night.
