Line Fire in San Bernardino County grows to 25,000 acres

MONDAY’S UPDATES: Firefighters with the U.S. Forest Service, along with regional agencies, are working to contain the massive Line Fire in San Bernardino County, California.

As of Monday evening, the fire had scorched more than 25,000 acres and forced the evacuation of thousands of homes in the communities of Running Springs, Highland, and Redlands – roughly 60 miles east of downtown Los Angeles. 36,000 structures are threatened, and California Gov. Gavin Newsom has declared a state of emergency.
