Mandatory evacuations remain in northern Colorado for Alexander Mountain Fire

DENVER (KDVR) — Mandatory evacuations have been ordered for a wildfire burning west of Loveland in Larimer County, named the Alexander Mountain Fire.

The fire was reported shortly before noon on Monday. As of about 9 p.m., the Larimer County Sheriff’s Office reported the fire was at 950 acres. Smoke could be seen for miles, and mandatory evacuations remained in place.
