LOS ALAMOS COUNTY, N.M. (KRQE) – The Los Alamos Police Department is warning the public about a scam targeting Los Alamos County residents.

Police say they have received several reports of emails threatening to release personal information or videos unless a payment is made. Los Alamos Police says anyone who receives these emails should label it as spam or fraud, delete it, and remember not to send anyone money or payment information.
