Manhattan Madam Kristin Davis working for RFK Jr. campaign
Infamous Manhattan Madam Kristin Davis said she’s working in support of independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr.’s presidential campaign.
The 47-year-old ex-con told the tabloid Radar Online she’s a senior advisor for a political action committee supporting Kennedy’s longshot candidacy because she feels a “deep belief in his vision” as a leader whose beliefs are “rooted in his personal journey, humility” and skepticism toward the pharmaceutical industry.
Kennedy’s struggling campaign has him polling in the single digits due it part to bizarre revelations about his past. That includes a long line of conspiracy theories and his claim that a worm ate part of his brain.
Davis admits she too has a dubious history.
She was arrested in 2008 on money laundering and prostitution charges that landed her on Rikers Island for four months. Davis boasted about providing services to New York’s biggest movers and shakers including former Gov. Eliot Spitzer. The once-promising Democrat’s career was ended in 2008 by his alleged connection to high-end prostitutes.
In 2014, Davis served two years in jail on drug-dealing charges.
“My past should not distract from the message of #rfkjr campaign,” Davis wrote on Instagram Thursday. “I’ve spent the last 15 years working behind the scenes in politics, and in my journey, I’ve encountered my fair share of grifters and scammers.”
As a public relations strategist, Davis said she’s worked behind the scenes with “many notable libertarian and right-wing personalities” including presidents.
It’s not clear if Davis has had direct contact with Kennedy, who’s polling around 5%. She suggested on Instagram the 70-year-old political scion should contact Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump to inquire about heading the United States Department of Health and Human Services in exchange for his support. Kennedy famously opposed the use of life-saving vaccines during the COVID-19 pandemic.
Trump seemed to indicate in a recorded phone call to Kennedy last month that there might be something in it for Kennedy if he drops out of the presidential race and backs the Republican ticket. Kennedy’s training is in law, not medicine.
Team Kennedy hasn’t responded to a request for comment.
