Milwaukee Medical Examiner's Office identifies man found dead outside Hyatt Regency hotel

The homeless man who died Sunday afternoon in the entrance of the Hyatt Regency in downtown Milwaukee has been identified as Dvontaye L. Mitchell.

The Milwaukee County Medical Examiner's Office released the 43-year-old man's identify Monday and determined the preliminary cause of this death as homicide.

Attempts to reach his family were not immediately successful. An attempt to reach the manger of the Hyatt, 333 West Kilbourn Ave., was unsuccessful.
