Silver Alert canceled for missing 65-year-old Kenner man
KENNER, La. (WGNO) — The Kenner man who was reported missing on Thursday was found unharmed on Friday.
According to the Kenner Police Department, the man, 65-year-old James Evans Jr., for whom a Silver Alert was issued by the Louisiana State Police, came back to the Waldon Health Care Center on his own accord around 3:30 p.m. on Aug. 30.

Evans, who suffers from both dementia and diabetes, reportedly walked off from the care center, located at 2401 Idaho Ave., on the night of Aug. 28.
Upon his return, he was found to be in good health with no signs of injury or abuse.
