Mobile Fire-Rescue responded to smoke from a call at the University of South Alabama Thursday morning.

Upon arrival, MFRD checked inside and outside the building.

Although a fire wasn’t found, MFRD determined that the smoke came from an air conditioner due to a potential electrical issue.

Power was shut off to fix the problem and avoid a potential fire and danger to workers.
