Mountain lion, discovered in NE Albuquerque, is being relocated

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A mountain lion was found near Tramway Boulevard in Albuquerque.

Albuquerque posted a photo on Saturday, showing officers carrying the sleeping panther after he was found hanging in a tree near Tramway and Spain.

Officers, alongside the New Mexico Department of Game and Fish, tranquilized the big cat and carried him out of the Foothills.

He was tagged and is going to be relocated to the Manzano Mountains.
