MPD officer, 5 others injured in multi-vehicle crash

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Six people, including an MPD officer and two juveniles, were injured Sunday afternoon after a multi-vehicle car crash in Southeast Memphis.

At 3:46 p.m., officers responded to a multiple-vehicle crash involving a squad car at Lamar Ave. and Tuggle Rd.

The officer, two men, a woman and two juveniles were taken to various area hospitals in non-critical condition.

Police say this is an ongoing investigation.
