Oscars 2020: Keanu Reeves brought his mother to the ceremony as his date
Keanu Reeves cemented his place as Hollywood’s sweetheart at the 92nd Academy Awards as he brought his mother along as his date.
Costume and production designer Patricia Taylor walked the red carpet with her actor son in coordinated outfits – the pair both wore suits.
Reeves plumped for a traditional black suit while Taylor looked elegant in a white fitted tuxedo paired with a diamond choker.

He wasn't the only one to take his mother along to the ceremony at Hollywood's Dolby Theatre – Laura Dern and Charlize Theron brought along their respective mums, Diane Ladd and Gerda Maritz.
Reeves is currently rumoured to be in a relationship with artist Alexandra Grant after the pair held hands at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art’s Art and Film Gala back in November.
The duo have never officially confirmed if they are dating, but Grant's pal Jennifer Tilly recently claimed they had in fact been dating "for several years".
“I remember a couple years ago, about a year and a half ago, [Grant] said, ‘Keanu Reeves is my boyfriend’ and I’m like, ‘Wait. What? What? What?’ She was so cool I thought she was a lesbian,” she joked to Page Six.
Reeves, 55, reunited with his Something's Gotta Give co-star Diane Keaton at the ceremony as they presented the award for Best Original Screenplay, which went to Parasite filmmaker Bong Joon-ho.
