Paramount+ Sets Premiere for ‘We Will Dance Again’ Documentary About Oct. 7 Hamas Terrorist Attack
Paramount+ will premiere We Will Dance Again on Sept. 24. The film documents the Hamas’ Oct. 7 terrorist attack at the Nova Music Festival last year.
The premiere date is tied near to the first anniversary of the attack that killed about 1,200 Israelis and took roughly 250 hostages. To retaliate against Hamas after the attacks, Israel launched an offensive military action in Gaza with considerable loss of life in the region.

The project from See It Now Studios features new interviews with more than a dozen survivors who were able to chronicle their harrowing experience to stay alive with exclusive cell phone footage. The doc also includes footage captured by other victims and Hamas ahead of the wider Israel-Gaza conflict.
“The human cost of the Hamas attack in Israel and the war that followed in Gaza has been catastrophic for both Israelis and Palestinians,” Susan Zirinsky, president of See It Now Studios, said in a statement. “It is a painful story of unfathomable tragedy but also of bravery, sacrifice and heroism. This film is a document of history, of one of the attacks that began on Oct. 7 at 6:29 in the morning,” she added.
We Will Dance Again is directed by Yariv Mozer. His other film credits include The Devil’s Confession: The Lost Eichmann Tapes and Ben Gurion: Epilogue, My First War.
Uncensored footage of the terrorist attacks previously screened in November at the Museum of Tolerance in West L.A. The project, Bearing Witness, featured 43 minutes of footage of acts committed by Hamas terrorists against Israeli citizens at the Nova Music Festival, which became an early target of the attack on southern Israel nearly a year ago.
The struggle of Israeli-American Hersh Goldberg-Polin to survive the music festival attack, only to be taken hostage and more recently be among six hostages who were killed before the Israeli army could rescue them, is included in the film.
We Will Dance Again is a co-production of See It Now Studios, SIPUR and factual producer Bitachon 365, in collaboration with MGM Television and HSCC. Other co-producers include BBC Storyville, which will broadcast the documentary in the U.K., and Hot Channel 8, which will air the film in Israel.
The executive producer credits are shared by Emilio Schenker, Terence Wrong, Michael Peter Schmidt, Gideon Tadmor, Orly Arbell, Ariel Weisbrod, Sheldon Lazarus, Ben Winston, Leo Pearlman, Ben Turner and Gabe Turner, among others.
Chris Grant’s Osmosis Global is handling worldwide TV sales rights for the documentary.
