This week, makeup artist Pat McGrath’s 600,000 Instagram followers have been making guesses about the enigmatic videos and vintage photos of oil spills and ‘80s performers gracing their feeds with the hashtag #Phantom002. McGrath made the big reveal last night at an insider party in Brooklyn, keeping her promise of quick beauty product releases. Party-goers had their makeup done with the Phantom 002 eight piece set and mingled with the likes of Hailey Baldwin, Stella Maxwell, and Tavi Gevinson.

The set includes two brushes – a Japanese blender and a flat brush, an eye gloss and gel liner duo, and in case you missed her first product Gold 001, there’s also four pigments, Fuchsia 002, Blue 002, Copper 002, and a new rendition, Gold 002. Like McGrath’s first product, the Phantom 002 kit is packaged in a bed of sequins to protect the pigments from breaking since the formula is soft. The pigments defy categorization, and can be used for more than just smoky eyes. Gold 001 was applied on cheeks, lips, and eyebrows, and we expect Phantom 002 to be nothing short of amazing as well.

The kit is inspired by oil-slicked colors and club kid culture, and goes on sale on PatMcGrath.com on December 15 at noon. McGrath sites London youth icons Boy George, David Bowie, Grace Jones, and Siouxsie Sioux as her muses behind the kit, and hopes it will bring out the rebellious club kid in you. “[It’s] the spirit of imagination, mystery, darkness, and the lure of the unknown,” McGrath told Vogue. She is limiting the $240 kit to 1 per customer, as she did with Gold 001. Due to the limited nature of these quick releases, only 1,200 kits will be available. Gold 001 which was limited to just 1,000 units and sold out quickly, so follow the countdown online to get your hands on the kit before it’s gone.
