Woman, 37, struck and killed by Norfolk Southern Train in SW Charlotte: CMPD
CHARLOTTE (QUEEN CITY NEWS) – A 37-year-old woman is dead after she was struck by a Norfolk Southern Train in southwest Charlotte Friday morning, according to authorities.
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Police said the deadly incident happened at 9:46 a.m. Friday, July 26, in the 200 block of Peachtree Drive South.
As emergency personnel arrived at the scene, they found Jenna Wolfe, 37, lying on the railroad tracks. She was pronounced deceased at the scene.

CMPD said they believe Wolfe was lying on the railroad tracks when she was struck by the train.
The investigation into this deadly crash is active and ongoing. Anyone with additional information is asked to call Dept. Kupfer at 704-432-2169, Ext. 1.
