3 dead, 5 wounded in Milwaukee shootings on Saturday

Multiple shootings on Saturday left three people dead, including two teenagers.

Police are investigating who is responsible.

Shooting near Butterfly Park

Two people – one adult and a 6-year-old child – were shot near Butterfly Park just after 5 p.m.

The child and a 37-year-old adult were taken to a local hospital and expected to survive, according to law enforcement.

Shooting near Sherman Park

The Milwaukee County Sheriff's Office is investigating a double shooting Saturday evening near the playground in Sherman Park. It happened around 5:45 p.m.

The Sheriff's Office said one victim died and another suffered a non-life-threatening gunshot wound.

Authorities said a fight may have preceded the shooting.

Two minors killed in third shooting on Saturday

Milwaukee Police are also investigating a shooting around 8 p.m. Saturday in the 800 block of W. Manitoba Street that killed two teens.

A 15-year-old died at the scene, and a 16-year-old was taken to the hospital where they were pronounced dead. A 14-year-old was treated for non-fatal injuries and is in stable condition.
