PPD: 3 arrested for trafficking fentanyl, opium after traffic stop

PRICEVILLE, Ala. (WHNT) — The Priceville Police Department (PPD) says three people were arrested for drug trafficking after a traffic stop Monday morning.

PPD said on August 19 around 1 a.m., an officer pulled over a car on I-65 for minor traffic violations.

The officer said during the stop, he noticed several factors which made him believe the people in the car were involved in criminal activity.

Because of this, the officer found a quantity of fentanyl, an assortment of pills, marijuana, various drug paraphernalia and a large amount of U.S. currency inside the car.

25-year-old Damian Lamont Jones, 19-year-old Theo Keyshawn Raymont O’Neil-Jones and 35-year-old Cassandra Desiree Noelle Spiker were all arrested and transported to the Morgan County Jail.

All three people were charged with trafficking fentanyl, trafficking illegal drugs- opium or derivative, first-degree unlawful possession of marijuana and unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jones and Spiker were also charged with obstructing justice using a false identity.

All three are being held in place of their bonds:

  • Damian Lamont Jones – $600,300

  • Theo Keyshawn Raymont O’Neil-Jones – $550,000

  • Cassandra Desiree Noelle Spiker – $550,300
