Project 2025 is a summer must read. Dangerous plan would dismantle America.
Project 2025 a must read
I strongly encourage every American, especially the undecided or those contemplating not voting, to google “Project 2025.”
Written by the Heritage Foundation with approximately 100 conservative groups signing on, it is a blueprint for the Trump presidency.
It includes replacing nonpartisan government employees with Trump loyalists.
Government oversight and consumer protections and safety will be eviscerated. Project 2025 proposes partisan control of the Departments of Justice and Commerce, the FBI, and the Federal Communications and Federal Trade Commissions.
It would dismantle the Department of Homeland Security and abolish the Department of Education. In the wake of global warming and its unprecedented damages and costs, Project 2025 would dramatically cut environmental and climate change regulations in favor of a “drill baby drill” policy.
OPINION: Why Project 2025 is a hateful plan all Americans should fear
AMERICANS ARE NOT POWERLESS: Democracy in America will only die if we let it
Project 2025 would also cut funding for Medicare and Medicaid and calls for the rejection of abortion as healthcare and would eliminate coverage for emergency contraception.
Project 2025 would remove legal protections based on sexual orientation and gender and eliminate affirmative action, to be replaced with DOJ prosecutions of “anti-white racism.”
Project 2025 recommends the arrest, detention and deportation of undocumented immigrants and using the military to place them in internment camps.
In November, please vote to protect our democracy.

Police work hard for us, so help by celebrating them
It is time for every neighborhood in Columbus to become police friendly.
The men and women in blue need to be celebrated and thanked every day for keeping us safe. That is the best way to fight crime in Columbus.
So the next time you see a police officer just say thank you; it will improve their morale and make our streets safer.

'We the people' are in a ridiculously difficult position
We The People, in order to create a more ridiculous government, have boiled our presidential choices down to a bumbling great-grandparent, a pathological liar and fraudster, and a family clown whose brain was snacked on by worms.
Ben Franklin, John Adams, Thomas Jefferson, and George Washington would die of embarrassment (if they weren’t already dead). This is what the two-party system hath wrought.
The cries of one party for their candidate to step down is laughable.
The fact that the other party is ignoring the same problem with their candidate is roll-on-the-floor hilarious. It’s as if the movies “Grump Old Men” and “Idiocracy” had a baby. Yet one of these incompetents is hailed as a savior.
It is appalling the level of ignorance we have achieved.
