SAN ANGELO, Texas (Concho Valley Homepage) — The San Angelo Chamber of Commerce held July’s Membership Luncheon at the C.J. Davidson Center at Angelo State University. Members heard what’s happening this year at Angelo State University.

The “Education Luncheon” focused on the highlights of ASU’s previous year and what to look forward to for the upcoming year. ASU President Ronnie Hawkins was the guest speaker.

Community Engagement Officer Flor Leos said, “At Angelo State we really are mindful and intentional about being a part of the community and being in the community, so this is our time to bel able to share, but also the opportunity for community members to come join us to get more information. We are San Angelo. We are part of San Angelo. We want people to know who they have here in the community with Angelo State and for them to feel like they know and could speak to what we have to offer here.”

President Hawkins also told Chamber members that Angelo State University’s enrollment is the highest it’s ever been.
