Have you seen him? Cleveland police continue search for ‘person of interest’ in hit-and-run that killed child
CLEVELAND (WJW) – Cleveland police have released photos in the continued search for the person of interest in a hit-and-run crash that killed a 7-year-old boy Friday evening.
The Cleveland Division of Police Accident Investigation Unit is asking the public to help identify the person of interest in connection to the August 16 hit-and-run on the 16000 block of Lakeshore Boulevard.

According to Cleveland police, 7-year-old Amir Prewitt was riding his skateboard in the driveway of the parking lot when he was hit by a vehicle and dragged underneath around 7:20 p.m.
Investigators say the vehicle, described as a large SUV with tinted windows, then pulled out of the parking lot and drove away.
Saturday afternoon, the Fox 8 I-Team learned Cleveland police have found the vehicle believed to be involved in the hit-and-run.
When police found the vehicle, no one was in it, and investigators had the vehicle towed.

Prewitt was taken to a nearby hospital where he was later pronounced dead from his injuries.
