CLEVELAND (WJW) — Sentencing for a man charged as the getaway driver in a mass shooting in Cleveland’s Warehouse District last summer has been postponed.

In January, Kevin Del Valle-Salaman, 25, took a plea deal on lesser charges of tampering with evidence and obstructing justice.

He was scheduled to be sentenced at 10 a.m. on Thursday, March 14, but the hearing was postponed.

Cleveland police said Valle-Salaman was with the shooting suspect, Jaylon Jennings, when Jennings opened fire toward a group of people on West 6th Street in early July.

Nine people were injured in the incident.
