Sex and the City legend Kim Cattrall lands new BBC role
Sex and the City star Kim Cattrall has signed up for a new BBC role.
The legendary actor will be leading the 10-part BBC Radio 4 and BBC Sounds audio drama series Central Intelligence, inspired by the true story of the formation of America's CIA.
Cattrall will be playing early CIA recruit Eloise Page as she rises to become one of the most powerful and influential women in the agency.
Central Intelligence's voice cast includes four-time Oscar nominee Ed Harris (Westworld) as future CIA director Allen Dulles and Johnny Flynn (Ripley) as his successor Richard Helms. Geoffrey Arend (Physical) and Rob Benedict (Supernatural) also star.

The series will center around Eloise looking back on the defining moments of the early CIA as it shaped US foreign policy for decades to come.
Along the way, Eloise shows listeners how she was able to break the mold of the intelligence industry hierarchy, which was traditionally run by the 'male, pale and Yale’ at the time.

Alison Hindell, BBC Radio 4’s commissioning editor for Drama and Fiction, has promised that Central Intelligence listeners are in for "a treat".

Central Intelligence will premiere on September 13, 2024, on Radio 4’s Limelight podcast feed.
And Just Like That, the sequel to Sex and the City, airs on Max in the US and Sky Comedy and NOW in the UK.
