Stranger Things bosses' new Netflix show unveils A-list cast
Netflix has unveiled an exciting cast for its new show The Boroughs, which is being developed by Stranger Things bosses Matt and Ross Duffer.
The sci-fi series will take place in "a seemingly picturesque retirement community in the New Mexico desert" and will follow a group unlikely heroes as they "band together to stop an otherworldly threat from stealing the one thing they don't have: time."

A release date for The Boroughs is yet to be announced, and though character details are being kept under wraps, the streaming service has revealed the show's A-list cast.
The Boroughs will feature Spiderman's Alfred Molina as Sam, Thelma and Louise star Geena Davis as Renee and Clemency's Alfre Woodard as Judy.
Viewers will also see American Horror Story's Denis O'Hare as Wally, The Wire star Clarke Peters as Art and Independence Day's Bill Pullman as Jack.

Sex Education's Ben Taylor will executive produce, alongside Matt and Ross Duffer. Taylor will also step into the role of director for multiple episodes. Meanwhile, Jeffrey Addiss and Will Matthews will serve as showrunners on the eight-episode series.
"While the heroes in The Boroughs have a few more years on them than the kids from Stranger Things, they are a similarly lovable bunch of misfits, and we can't wait for you to join them on an adventure that is at turns scary, funny, and deeply touching," said the Duffer brothers.
They added: "We've been fans of Jeff and Will's writing for a long time, and when they pitched us their idea for The Boroughs, we immediately knew they had something very special on their hands."
Stranger Things seasons 1-4 are streaming on Netflix. A fifth and final season is in production. Stranger Things: The First Shadow is now booking until February 2025 at the Phoenix Theatre in London. Tickets are available now. Beetlejuice Beetlejuice is released in cinemas on September 6.
