Suspect arrested for arson in downtown Bakersfield fire
BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Fire Department has arrested a suspect for felony arson charges, for a fire that occurred on Sept. 2, at the Toucan building in downtown.
Michael Webber, the suspect, caused an estimated $750,000 in damage to the 8,500-square-foot structure at a commercial building located at 1030 19 Street, Downtown.

Officials took Webber into custody on Friday, Sept. 6, around 11 a.m. for the charges of arson and additional offenses.
