Former president Barack Obama and former first lady Michelle Obama are scheduled to speak Tuesday night, the second night of the Democratic National Convention in Chicago.

"Looking forward to being at the @DemConvention, and joining so many inspiring people to share what's at stake in this election – and why @KamalaHarris and @Tim_Walz should be our next President and Vice President," the former president said on X.

Barack Obama is scheduled to close the night's program at about 10 p.m. CT, according to convention officials.

Michelle Obama is scheduled to speak immediately before her husband — and immediately after Doug Emhoff, Kamala Harris' husband.

The program, at the United Center, is scheduled to start at 5:30 p.m. CT.
