Triple-digit heat: Temps to top 100 degrees this weekend
DENVER (KDVR) — The triple-digit temperatures arrive Friday across the Front Range with sunny skies and possible record-breaking heat in the Denver weather forecast.
Friday, Saturday and Sunday will be Pinpoint Weather Alert Days.
Weather today: Sunny and hot
Denver will see mainly sunny skies Friday with a light breeze picking up on Friday afternoon. Temperatures could be the hottest of the year with highs in the low 100s.

Heat advisories will go into effect at 10 a.m. Friday and last through 8 p.m.
Weather tonight: Warm and clear
The skies stay clear Friday night with lighter winds. Overnight lows are warm in the middle 60s.
Looking ahead: Hot weekend, rain brings some relief next week
Saturday is another hot day with highs near 100 degrees and mainly sunny skies.

Denver could see some extra afternoon clouds on Sunday with possible record highs in the low 100s. Heat advisories remain in effect during the daytime hours through Sunday.
Both Saturday and Sunday are also Pinpoint Weather Alert Days for the heat.
Monday starts the next workweek with high heat in the upper 90s and sunny skies. Tuesday gets extra clouds and chances for some showers and storms. Highs on Tuesday will be more comfortable at the 90-degree mark.
Wednesday has the best chance for storms in the afternoon with more clouds. Highs are more comfy on Wednesday, reaching the middle 80s.
Thursday brings a bit more sunshine back into the forecast with highs in the upper 80s and chances for a spotty shower.
