Trombone Shorty’s Treme Threauxdown returning for 8th year
NEW ORLEANS (WGNO) — Trombone Shorty and Orleans Avenue’s Treme Threauxdown concert is happening again this year.
The Ambassador Theatre Group announced the concert will return for an 8th year at the Saenger Theatre on Saturday, April 27 during the first weekend of the Jazz and Heritage Festival.

The list of guest stars will be announced next. Guest stars from previous years include Jon Batiste, Mavis Staples, Allen Toussaint, Dr. John, Eric Church, Usher, Joan Jett, Gary Clark, Jr., Nick Jonas, Dierks Bentley, Steve Miller and Wyclef Jean.
Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, Jan. 26. They can be purchased on the Saenger’s website or at the theatre’s box office at 1111 Canal St.
