Trump and Clinton revive campaign feud with Twitter jabs
In a scene reminiscent of their bitter election contest, President Trump and Hillary Clinton exchanged words on Twitter late Wednesday, with the president reviving his derogatory nickname for the former Democratic nominee, who earlier in the day cited Russian interference and sexism as factors in her loss.
“Crooked Hillary Clinton now blames everybody but herself, refuses to say she was a terrible candidate,” Trump tweeted. “Hits Facebook & even Dems & DNC.”

Clinton fired back using a term Trump accidentally unleashed upon the global lexicon the day before.
“People in covfefe houses shouldn’t throw covfefe,” she tweeted.

Although Trump did not respond to the former secretary of state’s shade, his son Donald Trump Jr., was more than happy to do so.
“What house is he in again???” Trump Jr. tweeted. “That’s what I thought. You’re trying too hard.”

In an appearance at the Code Conference in San Francisco on Wednesday, Clinton criticized former FBI Director James Comey and the media for focusing on her email scandal rather than potential Russian interference in the campaign.
“Comey was more than happy to talk about my emails, but he wouldn’t talk about investigation of the Russians,” Clinton said.
Clinton also suggested the Kremlin had help in its election meddling.
“The Russians, in my opinion, and based on the intel and counterintel people I’ve talked to, could not have known how best to weaponize,” she said, “unless they had been guided … by Americans and guided by people who had polling and data information.”
“I take responsibility for every decision I made,” Clinton added. “But that’s not why I lost.”
