How ironic that the U.S. Supreme Court’s devastating blow to our democracy came so close to the Fourth of July (“Trump gets some immunity,” July 2).
With this unconscionable ruling, the Trump-infected court laid out the welcome mat for fascism in America.
It was a king’s cruelty and abuse of power that drove American colonists to fight for freedom nearly 250 years ago. Have we learned nothing from the past?
What side of history are we on now?
