Trump senior adviser says there’s a ‘two-tiered system of justice’ after Biden special counsel report

Jason Miller, a longtime adviser for former President Trump, reacted to a special counsel clearing President Biden of criminal wrongdoing by saying there’s a “two-tiered system of justice.”

Miller, during an appearance Thursday on “The Hill” on NewsNation, said the decision to conclude the case into Biden’s handling of classified materials “showed that there’s very clearly a level of a two-tiered system of justice, that there’s a selective prosecution game that’s going on here.”

Special counsel Robert Hur released his findings in a 388-page report in which he determined Biden “willfully” retained classified documents but did not bring any charges against him.

Meanwhile, Trump — Biden’s likely competitor in the 2024 presidential election — is defending himself against 91 criminal charges among four state and federal criminal indictments.

The same day Hur released his findings, the Supreme Court heard oral arguments in the case to kick Trump off the ballot under the 14th Amendment’s Insurrection Clause.

Miller said that from the Trump campaign’s perspective, they believe Hur’s decision “is very much election interference.”

“I think the whole reason why these illegal attacks are happening against President Trump is to try to cover up for what we’re seeing with Joe Biden,” Miller said, adding that Biden’s Thursday evening remarks didn’t help the 81-year-old president’s case.

Hur’s investigation led to his description of Biden as an “elderly man with a poor memory.” Biden angrily defended himself in an impromptu speech in which he said he is more than capable of being president.

Age and mental competency are being questioned this election cycle, as Biden would be 86 by the end of a second term, and Trump would be 82.

Miller argued that “everybody should take some sort of tests” when asked about Trump and Biden participating in public competency tests. He said he wasn’t sure Biden would even “get his name right” if he were to take one.
