Two dead in shooting incident south of Topeka
SHAWNEE COUNTY (KSNT) – Local law enforcement is reporting two people are dead from gunshot wounds in a neighborhood south of Topeka.
The Shawnee County Sheriff’s Office posted to social media on Tuesday, July 30 of a shooting incident reported around 7:45 p.m. on July 29 in the 1600 block of SW 70th Street. Deputies arriving in the area found two people dead from gunshot wounds.
Initial investigations into the incident point to a domestic situation. The sheriff’s office believes no other people are involved with the situation. No other information is available to share at this time.
