This Is Us's Milo Ventimiglia reunites with co-stars for special episode

This Is Us star Milo Ventimiglia has reunited with some of his co-stars for a special appearance on their rewatch podcast.

Earlier this year, stars Sterling K Brown, Mandy Moore, and Chris Sullivan launched a special series called That Was Us, which sees them watch the entire show back and take a deeper dive at the same time.

They have now confirmed the exciting news that none other than Jack Pearson himself will be joining them for an upcoming episode.

Announcing the guest appearance from Ventimiglia, the podcast’s official Instagram page first teased the news with a picture of Moore and her onscreen husband alongside a past set photo together.

A post was later shared showing Brown, Moore and Sullivan alongside their former co-star, writing: “Current plans: Recording a very special episode of #ThatWasUs with Jack Pearson Milo Ventimiglia!!! #ThisIsUs.”

Fans could barely contain their excitement, one writing: “THIS IS GONNA BE THE BEST EPISODE YET OMG I’M SO EXCITED.”

“The one I was waiting for, love you all so much guys,” another added, while a third suggested: “This episode needs to be 2 hours long (minimum).”

That Was Us was first announced back in April, the trio saying at the time: “The Pearson's story may have ended after six seasons, but our stories continue on.

“For six seasons and 106 episodes, Tuesdays brought us together with tissues in one hand and pantry wine in the other. Why? Because we see ourselves in the fabric of their lives.

“We may or may not have cried at least once every episode, but let’s just say our tears served as emotional catharsis....”

The stars added that they will “really dig in and dig deep”, as they “break down each episode, bring on some very special guests, have the tough conversations and maybe do some collective healing along the way??”
