McClure confirmed her marriage last summer in an Instagram post, writing at the time: "Tied up in Notts!!! Best. Day. Ever!!!!!"

During the ceremony, the actor actually called up Owen's daughter Katie on the latter's BBC Radio Wales show after she had to leave early to present her show.

Speaking on air from her nuptials, McClure said: "We're married! We’ve had the most amazing special day and we're gutted you had to go back but we're so proud of you. You're missing lots of dancing Katie, but we can do that again."
