Do I need to register to vote?
Yes, you need to register to vote in Maine. Check your voter registration status here.
How do I do that?
You can register to vote online at the Maine Secretary of State’s website or in-person at local and state government offices including Motor Vehicle branch offices as well as state and federal services agencies. You can also print out a registration card here and either mail it or deliver it by hand to your municipal registrar or clerk. The deadline to register online or by mail is Oct. 15, but you can register in person through Election Day.
