Registrations sent by mail must be postmarked by Oct. 7, but you can register in-person through Election Day.

Can I vote by mail?
Anyone registered to vote in Montana can request an absentee ballot. You can fill out this application form and mail it or drop it off at your county election office. The deadline to submit your absentee ballot application is noon on Nov. 4, the day before Election Day. If you drop off your application in person, you can pick up your absentee ballot during that same visit. You can find more information on voting absentee here.
What's the latest date I can turn in my ballot?
Absentee ballots must be received at your election office or polling place by 8 p.m. on Election Day.

What if I need help getting to the polling site?
If you have a disability that makes it difficult to get to your polling place, you can apply for an electronic ballot which you can fill out on a computer and mail. You can also vote curbside from in your car or outside the polling location. Find more information on accessible voting here.
