How to Watch the DNC 2024

The 2024 Democratic National Convention is promising some serious political star power.

Vice President Kamala Harris made a surprise appearance Monday night and will appear Thursday to accept her nomination, preceded by Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz on Wednesday to accept his own nomination for her V.P.

President Joe Biden, who withdrew from the race in late July 2024, gave a speech on the opening night of the 2024 DNC to encourage viewers to vote for Harris and to reflect on his own time as president.

Other boldfaced names are expected to appear throughout the week as well, though not all speakers have yet been confirmed or announced.

Find out how to watch the DNC 2024, who's performing, who's speaking and how to stream the speeches and full events.

Will Beyoncé perform at the 2024 DNC?

Beyoncé has been rumored (perhaps wishfully) to be performing at the 2024 DNC. No one will confirm or deny it, but chances are at least her music will be present: Harris is using the chanteuse's "Freedom" as a campaign theme song with Queen Bey's blessing.

Swifties noticed that Taylor Swift has an opening in her Eras Tour from Aug. 20 through Aug. 22 and speculated that she might perform or appear at the 2024 DNC.
