Watch: Trump makes entrance at RNC with bandaged ear after assassination attempt
Former President Donald Trump made his first appearance at the Republican National Convention Monday night with a bandaged ear after surviving an assassination attempt Saturday.
Video shows Trump, with a large bandage covering his right ear, entering Fiserv Forum in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on a day that saw him officially secure the Republican nomination and place Ohio Senator JD Vance on the ticket as the party's vice presidential candidate. His entrance was greeted with thunderous applause from delegates and convention attendees.
Trump was shot at during a campaign rally in Butler, Pennsylvania where two people, including the shooter, died and two more were critically injured.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation identified the shooter as Thomas Matthew Crooks, 20, from nearby Bethyl Park. An investigation into his motives is ongoing.

When and where is the Republican National Convention?
The Republicans' convention will take place over four days, from July 15-18 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
The Fiserv Forum, home of the Milwaukee Bucks, will be the main venue for the RNC.
There also will be events at the nearby University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee Panther Arena and the Baird Center.
