Where to buy fabulous affordable jewellery- and other style tips from Celia Munoz, founder of childrenswear brand La Coqueta
The 40-year-old founder of childrenswear brand La Coqueta (and mother of five children under nine), Celia Munoz, shares her tips for looking glamorous around the clock...
A printed dress is a sartorial saviour
''I do love prints, and I’m quite big on dresses,'' Munoz tells The Telegraph. ''During the day I will wear one with trainers, and then if I’m going to an event I'll wear little boots or heels. They’re very versatile,'' she continues. ''I look for timeless pieces that are that still have character - such as a Saloni printed dress that I'll wear again and again.''
Sometimes mothers (and grandmothers) know best
''My style inspiration comes from my mother and my grandmother, both of whom are French, and who will pick up anything, anywhere, by any brand, just because they like it - and it looks amazing,'' says Munoz of the sartorial tips she's picked up from the women in her family.
''My grandmother has strong opinions about make-up,'' adds Munoz. ''She says you shouldn't make up your eyes when you get older, but she still wears bright red lipstick every day, aged 92. That's one think I've picked up from her. I can't imagine myself without it.''

Be in the know
If you're going to make wise investments, it helps to know where to head for what; something that the childrenswear designer has down to a tee: ''I'm a big fan of Finery for prints, Whistles for great basics, Massimo Dutti for tailored shirts and jackets, and Uterqüe for high-quality shoes,'' she reels off.
Fabulous jewellery needn't mean spending a fortune
''Tous is a popular Spanish brand that does little leather bracelets, which I love,'' says Munoz. ''And for earrings, I like Rosantica's tassel hoops, and I also like Oliver Bonas, which has some extraordinary pairs for around £7.99.''

Good denim is key
''I always have a good pair of jeans,'' says Munoz, ''and I will wear them with something quite dressy on top.'' What are her go-to denim brands? I like M.i.h a lot, and J Brand. And Chloé does jeans too.''
What does she wear them with? ''A Bella Freud jumper and trainers, or a silky flowery Erdem shirt and Charlotte Olympia flats.''
Smile
''What works for me and what my mother always told me is that the best accessory it being friendly and having a big smile,'' says Munoz. ''And I do think that gets you a long way. The projection of happiness is an attractive thing. No matter what you wear.''
