Winning Powerball jackpot ticket hits $213 million

(WJW) – Someone is holding a Powerball ticket worth $213.8 million!

Lottery officials said the ticket that was purchased in neighboring Pennsylvania matched all five numbers, plus the Powerball, in the game’s drawing on Monday, Aug. 12 to win the grand prize.

According to Pennsylvania Lottery, the winning ticket was sold at a pizza shop in Pittsburgh called Quick Pizza and Hoagies.

The winning numbers in the Aug. 12 drawing were: 9-22-57-67-68 and Powerball 14. CLICK HERE to check your numbers.

The odds of winning the Powerball jackpot are just 1 in 292,201,338, according to the Powerball website.

It’s been just over a month since the last time someone won the Powerball jackpot. The last winning ticket was sold in Ohio at a Walmart store in Huber Heights. According to the Powerball website, the ticket is worth $139.3 million and has not yet been claimed.

The Powerball jackpot will now reset to $20 million. The next drawing is Wednesday, Aug. 14.
