Woman injured in shooting near Progressive Field

CLEVELAND, Ohio (WJW) – A 26-year-old woman was taken to the hospital in serious condition after a shooting in downtown Cleveland, according to EMS.

Boy pulled from Lake Erie; rushed to hospital

The shooting took place at about 1:40 a.m. on Monday, July 15 in a parking lot outside of several bars in the 700 block of Bolivar Road and not far from Progressive Field.

Shell casings were visible in the parking lot.

‘Blast’ sounds expected in parts of NE Ohio

It’s not clear what led up to the shooting or if any suspects were in custody.
