WICHITA FALLS (KFDX/KJTL) — Despite the current challenges facing the restaurant industry, a local donut shop has seen continued success as Texas Donuts opens its third location in Wichita Falls.

Owner Konh said his secret recipe and dedication to always serving quality foods have helped him thrive in this business.

Texas Donuts’ first location on Holliday Street has been a favorite in the community for over 20 years. Because of that success, they have now opened their third location in Wichita Falls.

The new location on Southwest Parkway at the corner of Fairway is off to a great start. It offers the same great donuts that have made Texas Donuts a standout in the area.

Konh says the key to their success is offering a wide variety of menu items and creating a one-stop donut shop.

“You know we decided people can’t just eat donuts every day, right?” Konh said. “They need some change, maybe a burrito, croissant, a biscuit or a kolache. That way, it’s all in one stop.”

With the opening of this new location, Texas Donuts continues to demonstrate that with the right mix of passion and community support, growth is possible even in challenging times.
