Young girl found murdered overnight: I-Team

SANDUSKY, Ohio (WJW) -Police are investigating the murder of a young girl.

Sandusky Police Chief Jared Oliver confirms to the FOX 8 I-Team that around 9 p.m. on Thursday Devin S. O’Brien reported that a young female was missing from a residence the 4000 block of Venice Road.

Local school closes out of ‘abundance of caution’

Officers responded and began looking for the child.

The child was ultimately found deceased. A preliminary investigation into her death led to O’Brien being arrested and charged for her murder, report the I-Team.

2 dead, 2 injured in suspected murder-suicide

The incident remains under investigation.
