PREP BOYS BASKETBALL: Danville falls to Peoria Richwoods
Feb. 9—DANVILLE — The Danville boys basketball team started a weekend at home against Peoria Richwoods on Friday in Big 12 action.
The Vikings saw themselves down 19-9 after the first quarter and went on to lose 62-36.
Ja'Vaughn Robinson had 16 points to lead Danville, while CL Dye had 10 and Jerry Reed added five.
Daquan Littler had 16 points to lead Richwoods, while Lathan Sommerville had 15 and Jared Jackson had 10.
The Vikings will try to regroup on Saturday at the Watchfire Signs Shootout against Glenbard South.
