By now, everyone in the world has heard that America’s favorite supermodel Gigi Hadid did a collaboration with Tommy Hilfiger for NYFW, and that the show was held at Manhattan’s South Street Seaport in a fun-fair setting.
Of course, celebs were out in force. Gigi’s BFF Taylor Swift came out to support, wearing a sailor-girl top from the new collection, and a few Kardashians stopped by too, along with every big-name fashion editor in the biz. So, was it a success? Put it this way: By the time the last model strutted off the runway, some pieces of the see-now, buy-now collection were already sold out on the Tommy Hilfiger website — in case you doubted the selling power of TommyxGigi.
Models reinforced the fun, #girlsquad feel of the show, striding down the runway in identical looks — because who doesn’t want to be twin with her bestie?
