Alexander Wang's 'Dream Team' Revealed in Sporty H&M Ad Campaign

It’s getting closer and closer to Nov. 6 when Alexander Wang ’s collaboration with H&M finally hits stores. But leading up to the fall day, the designer and fast-fashion retailer have been dropping hints as to what to expect from the line. And on Thursday, ad campaign was released showing off the clothing’s sporty chicness in all its glory.

Models Isabeli Fontana, Joan Smalls, Natasha Poly and Racquel Zimmerman suit up in structural outerwear, dressed up athletic gear to play American football and hockey. The women are joined by professional kickboxer Rivaldino dos Santos in man leggings and long-haired hottie, West Ham, U.K., soccer player — or “footballer” where he’s from —Andy Carroll (perhaps the next David Beckham?).

The crew, which Wang calls his “ultimate dream team,” will also appear in a TV commercial and an online-only short film. “We wanted to take certain elements of each sport and portray the ultimate warrior…The girls had to feel big and heroic,” Wang told WWD.

The gym’s dress code has officially been elevated.
