Cindy Crawford Stars in Peter Lindbergh-Hosted Supermodel Reunion
When you hear the word supermodel, there’s a very good chance a Peter Lindbergh image pops into your mind. That image of the girls wearing leather caps and mini skirts in Brooklyn? That one where they’re playing on a beach in white shirts with wind-swept hair? The iconic black and white image of Kate Moss in overalls? And perhaps most significant, the January 1990 cover of American Vogue, which prompted George Michael to cast Naomi Campbell, Cindy Crawford, Christy Turlington, and more in the music video for “Freedom.”

So it’s no wonder Lindbergh’s working on a new project, The Reunion, in which he’s bringing together the girls—now women—whose careers he helped build. Luckily, he let Nowness film a behind-the-scenes video of the Carlyne Cerf de Dudzeele-styled shoot. It stars Crawford, Eva Herzigova, Karen Alexander, Nadja Auermann, and Tatjana Patitz and you can watch the whole thing, above.
